Typesetter

A typesetter is responsible for preparing text and images for print or digital publication. They use specialized software to arrange and format content, ensuring it is visually appealing and easy to read. The typesetter works closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure that the final product meets high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Use typesetting software to format and arrange text and images
- Collaborate with editors to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Communicate with designers to incorporate visual elements into layouts
- Check for errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Work with printers to ensure proper printing techniques are used
- Meet deadlines for production schedules
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members
- Knowledge of printing techniques and file preparation for different mediums (print, web)
- Degree in Graphic Design or a related field (preferred)

Salary: 1600 USD per month.

Location: Vianden, Luxembourg. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, but proficiency in English is required.
