Typesetter (Vianden, Luxembourg)

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for designing and formatting text for print and digital media. Your main duties will include selecting fonts, adjusting spacing and margins, and proofreading for errors. You will work closely with writers, editors, and graphic designers to ensure the final product meets our high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize desktop publishing software to create layouts for various publications
- Select appropriate fonts, font sizes, and spacing to ensure readability
- Proofread text for spelling and grammatical errors
- Collaborate with team members to ensure design consistency across all materials
- Make necessary edits based on feedback from editors or clients
- Ensure all deadlines are met without compromising quality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field preferred
- Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of typography principles and design elements
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality output

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1700 per month.
