Junior Civil Engineer



The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer with a passion for project management and construction. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of various civil engineering projects in the city of Vianden. Your strong technical skills and knowledge of industry standards will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of these projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility
- Collaborate with project managers to create detailed plans and cost estimates
- Utilize AutoCAD and other software programs to create detailed designs
- Ensure that all projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in civil engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software programs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (French or German would be an asset)
- Valid work permit for Vianden (Canadian nationality preferred)
