Database Administrator


We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise with the databases
- Ensure data security and perform regular backups to prevent data loss
- Develop and implement policies for data access and usage
- Optimize database performance by conducting regular maintenance activities
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new applications with existing databases
- Train employees on proper database usage and provide technical support when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL language and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques
- Experience in data backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Experience working with cloud-based databases
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python
