Metal Fabricator
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Clairvaux. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to blueprints, specifications, and industry standards. You will work with a variety of metals, such as steel, aluminum, and copper, using various tools and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and materials required
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal stock using rulers, calipers, squares, or templates
- Cut or shape metal pieces using tools such as shears, saws, or torches
- Use hand tools and welding equipment to assemble metal parts into finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in metal fabrication or related field
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in working with various metals and tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Clairvaux (accommodation available if needed)
Visa Requirement: Must have valid own visa for employment
