A leading architecture firm in Clairvaux is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our team as a Design and Planning Manager. As the Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of design and planning for our projects, ensuring they meet high standards of creativity, functionality, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept to completion, including developing initial sketches, creating detailed drawings, and overseeing construction
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project
- Manage a team of architects and designers to ensure project deadlines are met
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors to ensure designs are executed accurately
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to incorporate into designs
- Oversee budgeting and cost controls for each project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design and planning, preferably in commercial or residential projects
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on sustainable design projects
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Canada
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in both English and French
