We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Remish. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our databases. You will also handle database installations, upgrades, and backups. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of database management systems and a proven track record in troubleshooting and problem-solving. Experience with Oracle or SQL Server is required. This position offers a salary of 1700$ per month with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

As a Database Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, implementing, and maintaining database systems
- Managing user access and security
- Optimizing database performance
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
- Regularly monitoring database activity for potential problems or errors
- Conducting regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems
- Keeping up-to-date with new database technologies and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle or SQL Server
- Proficiency in SQL language
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms
- Knowledge of database design principles
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python
