Typesetter

Our publishing company in Wiltz is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for print and digital publications. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Using specialized software to format and arrange text and images for various publications
- Ensuring all text is aligned, formatted, and placed correctly according to design specifications
- Checking for any errors or inconsistencies in layout, font, spacing, etc.
- Collaborating with editors, designers, and other team members to create cohesive publication layouts
- Making necessary adjustments or revisions based on feedback from team members
- Preparing final files for print or digital distribution

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of typography, page layout, and design principles
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in publishing or graphic design industry
- Knowledge of biometric passport regulations (for international publications)
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)

Salary: Starting at $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
