Plasterboard Installation Technician

We are a reputable construction company based in Wiltz and we are seeking an experienced Plasterboard Installation Technician to join our team. As a Plasterboard Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboards according to blueprints and specifications
- Secure plasterboards to walls or ceilings using nails, screws, or adhesives
- Fill joints between boards with spackling compound and smooth out imperfections
- Repair damaged or cracked plasterboards
- Install insulation behind plasterboards for soundproofing or thermal insulation purposes
- Use appropriate tools such as saws, drills, levels, and trowels
- Follow safety procedures at all times and wear protective gear when necessary

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required; vocational training in carpentry or construction is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in plasterboard installation or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Basic understanding of math for measurements
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboards, their uses, and installation methods

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Wiltz but may require travel to different job sites within the city.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian candidates who have strong English communication skills. Freshers with relevant training or experience are also encouraged to apply.
