Plasterboard Worker

As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in residential and commercial settings. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to accurately measure, cut, and install plasterboard according to blueprints and specifications. Your duties will also include sanding, smoothing, and finishing surfaces to achieve a smooth and even appearance. You may also be required to remove old or damaged plasterboard and repair any underlying structures as needed.

To excel in this role, you should have experience working with plasterboard and possess strong hand-eye coordination skills. You should also have the ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and operate power tools safely. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be responsible for creating a seamless finish on all surfaces.

This position may require you to work independently or as part of a team depending on the size of the project. Excellent communication skills are essential as you may need to collaborate with other tradespeople on the job site.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a high level of physical fitness as this job can involve lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are also important qualities that we are looking for in our Plasterboard Worker.
