Preservation Architect vacancy in Dickirch Luxembourg

Heritage Conservation Architect



We are searching for a skilled Heritage Conservation Architect to join our team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while ensuring they meet modern safety and building codes. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of historic structures and determining necessary restoration work
- Creating preservation plans that adhere to local and national heritage conservation guidelines
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement restoration plans
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure preservation standards are met
- Conducting research on architectural history and materials used in historic buildings
- Preparing documentation and reports on restoration projects for government agencies and clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in heritage conservation/architecture field
- Knowledge of local and national heritage conservation guidelines and building codes
- Strong understanding of architectural history, materials, and techniques used in historic buildings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in computer aided design (CAD) software
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors

Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Historic Preservation/Conservation or related field
- Previous experience working on restoration projects in Luxembourg
- Fluency in both English and French
