Formwork Technician


Our construction company in Dickirch is seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a formworker and possess strong skills in carpentry, concrete work, and reading blueprints. As our Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and setting up formwork for various building projects. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure accuracy and quality of the formwork. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and set up formwork according to blueprints and specifications
- Work with carpentry tools to cut, shape, and measure materials
- Install reinforcing bars or mesh for concrete pours
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools
- Ensure that formwork is built to required dimensions and specifications
- Inspect and repair any damaged formwork
- Communicate effectively with construction team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a formworker or in a similar role
- Strong skills in carpentry, concrete work, and reading blueprints
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials to required dimensions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to follow safety protocols at all times

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in carpentry or construction
- Experience using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
