Instrument Technician


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Lom, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment such as gauges, meters, transmitters, controllers, and valves
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and diagnose issues with instruments using various testing methods
- Install new instruments and equipment according to specifications and safety standards
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and proper functioning
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and update maintenance schedules as needed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex issues

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using various tools and testing equipment for troubleshooting purposes
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics, and diagrams related to instrumentation systems
- Familiarity with safety regulations in industrial settings
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or a related field
- Experience working with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills in English
