Carpenter (Indian Nationals)


We are a construction company based in Lom, seeking skilled Indian carpenters to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing building structures and frameworks made from wood and other materials. This position requires experience and expertise in carpentry techniques, as well as the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required for each project
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes or other materials
- Install structures such as windows, doors, stairs, cabinets and mouldings
- Inspect structures to ensure they meet building codes and specifications
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts of structures
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels etc.
- Good physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor duties
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on construction sites or with a construction company
- Previous experience in cabinetry or finish carpentry work is a plus
