Indian Executive Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team at a resort in Albena, Bulgaria. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and menu planning, as well as managing and training a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with knowledge and experience in preparing traditional Indian cuisine
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or resort setting
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop menus featuring authentic Indian dishes, taking into consideration seasonal availability and cost efficiency
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain quality and freshness of dishes
- Train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as food and beverage, purchasing, and marketing to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
This is a seasonal job with a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided by the resort.
