Executive Chef - Nepali Cuisine (Contract Position)


We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef who specializes in Nepali cuisine to join our team on a contract basis in Sofia, Bulgaria. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Nepali restaurant, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and authentic Nepali menus that reflect the culture and traditions of the country
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Manage inventory control and cost management to maintain profitability
- Monitor food production to minimize waste and ensure timely service
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a Nepali restaurant or similar establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Nepali cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Location:
The restaurant is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to experience living and working in Europe.

This is a contract position without accommodation provided. However, we can assist with finding suitable housing options in the area.
