Shaper - Furniture Maker


We are a leading furniture manufacturing company in Zagreb, seeking a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our team. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and carving wood pieces to create high-quality and unique furniture pieces. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month, along with accommodation and assistance with obtaining a work visa.

Responsibilities:
- Use various hand tools and machinery to shape and carve wood pieces according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design plans to create furniture pieces
- Select appropriate materials and ensure they are prepared and ready for shaping
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role in the furniture industry
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, routers, etc.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina
- Excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Carpentry or Woodworking
- Experience working with different types of wood materials
- Knowledge of different furniture styles and designs
