Mechanic Technician


A reputable auto repair shop in Zagreb is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for automobiles and possess exceptional diagnostic and repair skills. The Mechanic Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the company. We are looking for an Indian national with excellent English communication skills who can work independently with their own visa. Accommodation will not be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on various types of vehicles
- Performing complex engine repairs and overhauls
- Inspecting vehicle computer systems to identify any potential issues
- Keeping detailed records of all services performed on each vehicle
- Communicating with customers to explain repairs needed and answer any questions they may have

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanic Technician in an auto repair shop or dealership setting
- Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
