Foundryman
Location: Pula, Croatia
We are hiring a skilled Foundryman to work in our foundry in Pula, Croatia. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment, melting and pouring materials into molds, and performing quality checks on finished products. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any equipment issues and ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment such as furnaces, ladles, molds, and grinders
- Pour molten metal into molds according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Foundryman or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of foundry processes including melting, pouring, casting, and finishing
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
Contract Type:
This is a contract job with an initial duration of 6 months. There is potential for contract renewal based on performance.
