Foundry Foreman
As a Foundry Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process in a foundry in Pula, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. You will need to have extensive knowledge and experience in foundry work and be able to lead and manage a team of workers. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process in the foundry, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to schedule
- Manage a team of workers, providing guidance and direction as needed
- Monitor quality control to ensure that all products meet the required standards
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Train new employees and evaluate their performance
- Keep track of inventory levels and reorder materials as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in foundry work is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a foundry setting
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with various tools and equipment used in foundry work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
