Foundry Worker
Our foundry in Split is looking for a skilled and experienced Foundry Worker to join our team. As a Foundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment used in the casting process, such as furnaces, molds, and ladles. You will also be responsible for melting and pouring molten metal into molds to create various components and products.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a foundry
- Ability to operate various foundry equipment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy and melting temperatures of different metals
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
- Indian nationality preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds by cleaning, coating, and assembling them according to specifications
- Load materials into furnaces using overhead cranes or forklifts
- Monitor furnace temperature and adjust as needed based on type of metal being melted
- Pour molten metal into molds using ladles or automated pouring machines
- Remove finished products from molds once cooled and inspect for quality control purposes
- Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area at all times
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment or processes as they arise
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month.
