Blast Furnace Operator

We are a steel manufacturing company located in Dubrovnik, seeking an experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating the blast furnace, monitoring equipment and processes, and maintaining production targets while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the blast furnace according to standard procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor furnace temperature, gas levels, and other parameters
- Adjust controls and make necessary changes to maintain production targets
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot issues and make repairs as needed
- Record production data and maintain accurate records of process variables
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the blast furnace

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Blast Furnace Operator or similar role in a steel manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations, including charging, tapping, slagging, and refractory maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Physically fit and able to work in a hot and demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely under pressure

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Note: This position is open to all nationalities. Fluency in English is required for communication with team members. This is a full-time position with potential for growth within our company. Part-time positions may also be available for suitable candidates.
