Information Technology Manager
IT Manager
An established Canadian company is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our technology operations in Moscow. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing our company's technology infrastructure, ensuring its efficient and effective use, and providing technical support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our technology systems, including networks, servers, software, and hardware
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Ensure data security and protection by implementing appropriate measures and protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for hardware, software, and services
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware/software issues and ensure timely resolution
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for upgrades or changes as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology management
- Strong knowledge of networking principles, server administration, and cybersecurity protocols
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Russian language skills also preferred)
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. We also offer accommodation for the first three months as you settle into your new role.
