Entry-level Information Security Analyst in St. Petersburg


We are hiring an Entry-level Information Security Analyst to join our team in St. Petersburg on a contract basis. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for signs of potential threats or security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems
- Recommend and implement security measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficient in Nepali language (English proficiency is not required)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies
- Familiarity with common cyber threats such as malware, phishing, social engineering, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of 1500$ per month.

Location:
Our office is located in St. Petersburg but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Experience:
No prior experience is required for this position. We are open to hiring fresh graduates or individuals looking to start their career in information security.
