Library Assistant
Location: Chelyabinsk, Russia


We are seeking a Library Assistant to join our team in Chelyabinsk, Russia. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the Librarian in managing and maintaining the library's collection and services. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and organizing the library's collection, including cataloging and shelving books
- Help patrons locate resources and provide guidance on how to use library resources effectively
- Process new materials and maintain accurate records of library inventory
- Assist with circulation tasks such as checking out books, collecting fines, and updating patron records
- Provide basic reference services and assist with research inquiries
- Help maintain a clean and organized library space
- Collaborate with other library staff to plan events and programs for patrons
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Librarian

Requirements:
- Filipino nationality preferred but not required
- No English proficiency required, but basic knowledge is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service role is a plus but not required
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable using computer systems for cataloging, record keeping, and communicating with patrons
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month. The salary may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
