PHP Developer


Our company, located in St-Petersburg, is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications and websites. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, well-designed code and integrating data from various back-end services and databases. To ensure success in this role, you should have excellent programming skills and a strong understanding of web development principles. This is an urgent job opening with a salary of 1800$, open to English speaking candidates from Kenya or any other country.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP
- Write clean, well-designed code following industry best practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing codebase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Experience working with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
- Familiarity with database design principles and MySQL/MariaDB databases
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues efficiently

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with biometric passport systems is a plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
