Entry-Level Turner in Ufa, Russia

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Entry-Level Turner to join our team in Ufa, Russia. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines used to shape metal into parts or components for various products. This is a contract job with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor lathe machines, grinders, and other tools used in the turning process
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications
- Set up machines according to instructions and ensure proper alignment and calibration
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect finished parts for accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure quality production
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machines
- Communicate any issues or concerns with supervisors or team members

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in machining preferred
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Basic understanding of machine operations and mechanics
- Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1200 per month (contract position)
