Preservation Architect - Ufa, Russia


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic structures in the city of Ufa, Russia. You will work closely with local government agencies, historical societies, and private clients to ensure that these buildings are protected and maintained for future generations.

Your main duties will include conducting detailed assessments of historic buildings, developing preservation plans and strategies, overseeing restoration projects, and providing expert advice on conservation techniques. You will also be responsible for researching the history of these structures and ensuring that any changes or modifications adhere to preservation guidelines.

This role requires a strong understanding of architectural history and principles, as well as knowledge of traditional building materials and techniques. You should have excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Architecture or a related field with a focus on historic preservation. Previous experience in preservation projects is preferred but not required. Knowledge of Russian architecture and history is also beneficial.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

City:
