Database Administrator for Contract Position in Izhevsk, Philippines


As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases in Izhevsk, Philippines. Your main tasks will include designing, implementing, and monitoring databases to ensure optimal performance and security. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise and providing timely resolutions. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures based on business needs
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Database Administrator
- Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Database Administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
