Preservation Architect
We are currently seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team in Izhevsk. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the research, planning, and execution of projects involving the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other professionals to develop plans that adhere to conservation standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical structures and materials to inform preservation plans
- Collaborate with clients to determine their goals and needs for preservation projects
- Develop detailed plans for the restoration or rehabilitation of historic buildings
- Ensure that all plans comply with relevant conservation standards and regulations
- Work with engineers and other professionals to ensure structural integrity is maintained during restoration
- Monitor progress of preservation projects and make adjustments as needed
- Manage budget and resources effectively to complete projects within established timelines
- Provide guidance on appropriate materials, techniques, and methods for preservation work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture or a similar role
- Knowledge of historical building materials, techniques, and preservation standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and other professionals
- Experience managing budgets and resources preferred
