Concierge in Kathmandu

We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Concierge to join our team in Kathmandu. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and assisting them with various needs. This is a contract position with accommodation provided, making it an ideal opportunity for students or individuals looking for short-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with information about the hotel and local area
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
- Handle guest requests and provide recommendations for dining, entertainment, and transportation
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Handle guest complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Keep track of guest reservations and assist with booking arrangements
- Attend to any special requests or needs of VIP guests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions

Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Friendly demeanor and ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (experience with reservation systems is an advantage)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1400 per month
