Typesetter - English Speaking


We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Acre. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and graphics to create high-quality documents, such as books, magazines, and newspapers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and has a strong understanding of typography and design principles.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and graphics according to specific guidelines and specifications
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, spacing, margins, and alignment throughout the document
- Proofread documents for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and printers to ensure high-quality final product
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Native or fluent English speaker
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of typography principles and design software (Adobe InDesign)
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.
