Entry Level Turner/ Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Entry Level Turner/Machinist to join our team in Acre. As an Entry Level Turner/Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various mechanical equipment, including lathes, grinders, and milling machines. You will also be responsible for interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to create precision parts for various projects.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of machining principles and experience using various hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will also have experience with CNC programming and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to create precision parts
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Use various hand and power tools to shape, smooth, or polish metal components
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in machining or related field preferred but not required
- Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
