Junior Android Developer

As a Junior Android Developer, you will work with our team in Beer-Sheva to develop and maintain innovative mobile applications for our clients. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications, from concept to deployment, with a strong emphasis on user experience and functionality. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure the best solutions are delivered for our clients. This position is open to all nationalities and does not require fluency in English. We welcome freshers and those without prior experience in this field. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who holds their own visa and is looking to gain valuable experience as an Android developer while living in Beer-Sheva.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience with Android SDK/Frameworks such as Retrofit or Volley
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with designers on app design
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
