Typesetter

We are in search of a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing company in Beer-Sheva. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for creating layouts and designs for books, magazines, and other printed materials. You will work closely with the editorial team to ensure that the final product is visually appealing and error-free.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize software programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to format text and images for publication
- Create page layouts that are aesthetically pleasing and easy to read
- Proofread text and check for any errors in spelling, grammar, or formatting
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure that content is accurately represented in the final layout
- Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback from editors or clients
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, publishing or related field
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, and other typesetting software programs
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and print production processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
