Preservation Architect



As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in Beer-Sheva. Your role will involve conducting research, assessing the condition of buildings, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures in Beer-Sheva
- Assess the condition of buildings and identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Create preservation plans that comply with local regulations and standards
- Oversee restoration projects to ensure they are completed according to plan and within budget
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the preservation project
- Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of buildings during different stages of restoration
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of historical architecture styles and techniques
- Strong understanding of local regulations related to historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
