Preservation Architect


We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other architects to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and any necessary repairs or restoration work
- Develop preservation plans and strategies that adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other architects to create detailed designs and plans for preservation projects
- Oversee construction work to ensure that it is carried out according to the approved plans and specifications
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Conduct regular inspections of completed projects to ensure that they meet preservation standards
- Keep up-to-date with current preservation techniques and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on preservation projects
- Extensive knowledge of historic building materials, construction methods, and preservation techniques
- Strong design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, and other architects
