Job Title: Assistant Librarian

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Librarian to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As an Assistant Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting the head librarian in managing the library's collection, providing reference services, and overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the library's collection, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining inventory
- Provide reference services to library patrons and assist with research inquiries
- Oversee daily operations of the library, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure a clean and organized environment for patrons to study and use resources
- Assist in coordinating events and programs for the library community
- Train and supervise library volunteers or interns as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technology to improve library services

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred
- Fluent in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification or Library of Congress Classification
- Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1200 per month.
