We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Jerusalem, Israel. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, performance, and availability.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Develop data migration plans when necessary
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database structure for application performance
- Train users on how to access and use the database
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Knowledge of database design principles and data backup/recovery methods
- Familiarity with data manipulation languages (DML) and data definition languages (DDL)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members

Salary: $1400 per month

This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Israeli candidates.
