Librarian (Part-time) - Jerusalem, Israel


We are seeking a dedicated and organized Librarian to join our team in Jerusalem, Israel. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library programs and resources.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Provide recommendations for books and resources based on patron interests
- Develop and promote library programs for all ages
- Manage circulation of materials, including check-ins and check-outs
- Maintain library database system to ensure accuracy of records
- Monitor library budget and make recommendations for new purchases
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new initiatives for the library
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in literature, technology, and programming in libraries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in English (fluency in Hebrew is a plus)
- Experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
