Waiter/Waitress

A busy restaurant in Jerusalem is seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and drink orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and answer any questions about menu items
- Make recommendations and take food and drink orders
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Process payments using POS system
- Maintain a clean and tidy dining area
- Assist with setting up tables, silverware, and glassware for service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a waiter/waitress or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to memorize menu items and make recommendations based on guests' preferences
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must have own visa/work permit (Indian or Malayalee nationality preferred)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
