Junior Android Developer


We are a fast-growing tech company based in Ashdod, looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full development cycle of Android applications, from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve app development
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile application development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience developing mobile applications for iOS or other platforms
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
$1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Ashdod, Israel

Note: This is an English speaking job. Fluency in Hebrew or other languages is a plus but not required. Accommodation is not provided.
