Database Administrator - Ashdod, Israel
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Create and manage database backup and recovery plans
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Develop and implement data migration strategies
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize database usage for various applications
- Maintain database documentation and user manuals
- Proactively identify and propose solutions for potential database issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL language and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Experience with database design, capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of $1000 per month. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Location:
This position is located in Ashdod, Israel. Candidates who are not currently located in Israel must have the ability to relocate.
