Executive Chef


We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Ashdod. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in our food offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus in collaboration with the restaurant management
- Oversee daily food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and used according to safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain food cost control by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Proven track record of successfully managing kitchen operations and leading a team of culinary professionals
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Ability to create innovative menus while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of food cost control principles
- Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Malayalam is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Ashdod (accommodation not provided)
