Library Assistant

We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team at a public library in Ashdod. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing library collections, assisting patrons with finding materials, and providing excellent customer service. This job is suitable for Filipinos who are fluent in English and looking for part-time work without prior experience. Accommodation is not provided, but we offer a free visa and ticket for out-of-country applicants. This is an equal opportunity position open to both men and women.

Responsibilities:
- Organize library materials according to the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with locating books and other materials
- Answer patron inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
- Process new material acquisitions and maintain accurate inventory records
- Help plan and execute library programs and events
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the library space

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hebrew is a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Salary: $1300/month (part-time)
