Surveying and Mapping Technician

As a Surveying and Mapping Technician, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to assist in the planning and development of construction projects. Your main duties will include conducting surveys, preparing maps and drawings, and providing technical support to surveyors and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers and laser scanners
- Accurately measure distances, angles and elevations to create maps of land areas
- Prepare detailed drawings of survey data using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Assist surveyors in setting up survey markers and collecting field data
- Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to provide technical support for construction projects
- Maintain surveying equipment by calibrating, cleaning and repairing as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Surveying Technician
- Knowledge of specialized surveying equipment
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: $900 per month

This is a full-time job suitable for Egyptian nationals who have their own visa or are eligible for a work visa. No English proficiency is required.
