Back-End Developer - Contract Position (Herzliya, Israel)

We are a rapidly growing tech startup in Herzliya seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in back-end development and be able to work independently and efficiently. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying our company's website and server-side applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing server-side applications and APIs
- Writing efficient, testable, and reusable code
- Troubleshooting issues and debugging code
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in back-end development using languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of web services (RESTful, SOAP) and API design principles
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

We offer competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this contract position. This is an urgent hiring need so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately. This position does not include accommodation but we do offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
