We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. This includes monitoring database activity, ensuring data backups are executed regularly, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software.
- Create and manage user accounts with appropriate permissions.
- Monitor database activity to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database issues.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data recovery in case of system failure.
- Develop and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize database design for better performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server).
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with programming languages like SQL, Python, or Java.
- Good understanding of database design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary: 1700$ per month
