Indian Pastry Chef


We are searching for an experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Herzliya. As an Indian Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of traditional and modern Indian desserts and pastries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and a strong background in pastry making.

Responsibilities:
- Create, prepare, and present a variety of Indian desserts and pastries
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise other pastry kitchen staff
- Develop new dessert recipes that incorporate traditional Indian flavors and techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Indian Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and modern Indian desserts and pastries
- Strong understanding of flavor profiles, plating techniques, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to train and lead other kitchen staff
- Food safety certification is preferred
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time
