Moderator for English Speaking Online Community - Canada/Filipino/Herzliya


We are in need of a skilled Moderator to join our growing online community. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing discussions, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and within the community guidelines. You will also be in charge of resolving conflicts and addressing any issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and be familiar with Canadian or Filipino culture. Previous experience moderating online communities is preferred but not required. This position is based in Herzliya, but remote work may be considered.

As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and inclusive community environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring discussions and ensuring all posts adhere to community guidelines
- Addressing any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior from members
- Resolving conflicts between members and facilitating productive discussions
- Collaborating with other moderators to continuously improve the community experience
- Providing feedback to the community team on common concerns or suggestions from members

Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Canadian or Filipino culture preferred
- Previous experience moderating online communities is a plus
- Ability to remain impartial and handle conflicts professionally
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online forums
